All advertisers trading on the MEG platform will need to purchase MEG tokens before any bid is made. Each token has a 1:1 value with the trading currency.
VAT and Commission
MEG is a UK based Ltd company and all token purchases will be subject to an additional 20% VAT. This also includes international companies purchasing tokens, however, they will receive a full VAT refund after the transaction has been fulfilled.
Commission will be added to each successful transaction that is made on the platform and will be taken out of the total available funds on the advertiser’s MEG account.
Adding Funds
The funds section can either be found in the main navigation or under the accounts drop down.
The Media Exchange Group only accepts bank transfers and to transfer money into your MEG account, please use the details outlined on the funds page and include the unique reference code provided. This is important as it will link the transaction to your account and automatically updated it.
As soon as the transaction is confirmed, a purchase invoice is generated and available to download.
You have the ability to send a pro-forma to your finance team and add your own reference code to the invoice.
Withdrawing Funds
Available funds can be withdrawn at any time. When a request is made, an invoice will be generated on your behalf and sent to the MEG finance team to reconcile within 30 days.
